This large study among more than 1,000 young high-risk contacts shows that bacilli resistant to isoniazid are equally well transmitted as fully susceptible tubercle bacilli.

It is an entirely different question whether isoniazid-resistant tubercle bacilli are equally virulent as fully susceptible bacilli.
